Property owners maintain casual libraries
in the valley and on the mountain

To contribute books, puzzles, or CDs to the library, simply leave them on the table provided returns so they can be filed on the shelves properly.
The door to the library should remain propped open, but turn out the lights when you leave.
The library now managed by Martha Stocker, with help from Judi Pfeffer. The two volunteers are taking on the role of Susan Capell who for over 20 years ran the community's library.

The library at Tuckahoe Clubhouse in the front hall, on the left as you come in the front door. This popular community amenity is run by volunteers. It’s inventory comes from contributions from the Wintergreen community.
There are hardbound and paperback books, along with some puzzles, books on CD and a few children’s books as well. The books are sorted on the shelves as fiction (by author), non-fiction (sorted by cookbooks, humor, poetry, political, sports, history, etc.), short stories, biographies.
WPOA’s valley library is open from 8am until 8pm daily. The library managers may at times be working in the space organizing books and other items. (See Tuckahoe calendar here.)
There is no checking in and out of books, etc. Everything is on the honor system. Keep books, puzzles, etc., as long as reasonable, then return them when you are done. There is a table labeled for returned books. (Please put a note on any puzzles or CD that do not work.)
