The 2025 Community Yard Sale is Saturday May 3rd, 2025 from 8 AM till Noon

Wintergreen Property Owners Association is pleased to announce that there will be another Community Yard Sale this Spring. We are repeating the same outdoor table format that was so successful last year. This format provides homeowners with a safe and convenient way to sell personal property they no longer need. This will be exclusively an outdoor event. Owners will be responsible for selling their own wares, keeping any proceeds from what they sell.

The 2025 format:

  • One table and two chairs will be available for a $10.00 fee. Homeowners may wish to “go in” together and share tables. (Spaces are limited to approximately 27 tables) You are more than welcome to bring an “extra” table of your own. (Reserve limit is 2 for tables).

  • Payments: Checks should be made payable to Wintergreen Rescue Squad and must be received in the office by Friday April 25th. There is a drop box located in the Kitchen (beside WPOA closet) at Tuckahoe Clubhouse during the day and also in our unlocked foyer on the mountain located at the Community Office Building (COB). Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. (88 Wintergreen Drive). Checks can be mailed to: Wintergreen Rescue Squad C/O WPOA, 88 Wintergreen Drive, Roseland, VA 22967

  • For accountability, Please do NOT drop your check off at either of the Emergency Services Buildings.

  • Homeowners may bring any items they wish to sell and will be responsible for bringing them to the sale and attending to them at their table area during the sale hours. Sellers retain all proceeds.

  • At the end of the sale, leftover unwanted household items, clothing, and small items may be packed up and loaded by the seller on a trailer supplied by WPOA. These items will be transported to a charitable organization. Unsold FURNITURE, ELECTRONICS, TV’S, COMPUTERS, and LARGE ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THE TRAILER. Participants must remove these items themselves.

  • WPOA will advertise the sale to ensure good turnout for the event.

  • Bathrooms will be accessible inside the building.
